I did a snow shoe tour at Crater Lake Oregon on Saturday. It was awesome. We did 4 miles of snow shoeing on the most perfect day imaginable this time of the year. There was about 15' of snow at the lodge. Crater Lake is the deepest lake in North America. This was a 777 mile trip with Lucille and I am still amazed at how comfortable she is on long trips. The third picture is yours truly.

Yeah, this weekend was beautiful - I was out in the woods on Saturday and it was a gorgeous day. I can only imagine what Crater Lake was like. The photos look AWESOME.

Funny Thomas that you should call it God's Country! My Dad moved out here from Illinois after WW2 to Portland Oregon and about the same time my Mom moved out here from Nebraska. Dad has always called it God's Country ever since I was a little kid.

Dad has always called it God's Country ever since I was a little kid. He was correct until the democrats ruined the west coast.

Thanks Tracy, It was the most beautiful day imaginable for March here in Oregon. Crater Lake is one of the most beautiful places in the USA. Definitely a bucket list place to visit. Summer is good so you can swim in the lake or take a boat cruise around the lake and hike on Wizard Island.
