We called it skitching. We called bumper skiing. Even did this in the military?
We did that at the old beachbuggy beach on the sand !Some guys even used an old car hood as a sled being pulled behind a car.
Glad I'm in an F150 now.I'll admit I was surprised to see that the Ranger was ranked the second most dangerous pickup.I know we only represent a small percentage of owners out there but based on those who've been involved in some pretty bad ones here I thought it would rank a lot higher.
? They must of based their rankings from those blue ones??

In the past week they've also run similar articles saying the Bronco and Bronco Sport are the most dangerous vehicles on the road.i think ford authority is just trying make folks driving 5g and older rangers fearful... with hopes we buy an f150 or a 6g ranger. sorry ford authority - my 4g and 5g are doing just fine dont cost a kidney and are not bloated up in size lol.

Make sure you stop along the way to sniff your oil.So, supposedly there are 4 deaths in Rangers for every one billion miles, or one for every 250 million miles.
That is the equivalent of about 10,000 trips around the earth's circumference.
Well, I am going to throw caution to the wind, and try to beat the odd's. Will start today on my 10,000 trips around the earth.....leaving shortly and will let you all know how it went upon my return, tonight at around 7pm. Gassed up, but may have to stop a few times for fill-ups and potttie breaks.
But, I have full confidence in my Ranger's ability to bring me home safely....![]()
?Nope, no worries there....I have the Ford air/oil separator on board, fresh oil change, and new tranny fluid !!!Make sure you stop along the way to sniff your oil.?
