I'll admit I was surprised to see that the Ranger was ranked the second most dangerous pickup. I know we only represent a small percentage of owners out there but based on those who've been involved in some pretty bad ones here I thought it would rank a lot higher.

? They must of based their rankings from those blue ones? :lipssealed:?

Glad I'm in an F150 now.

likely the Rangers didn't have a TGD installed

In the past week they've also run similar articles saying the Bronco and Bronco Sport are the most dangerous vehicles on the road. Sounds like they're trying hard to push their slacking EV sales. :lipssealed:

Glad to see you're still alive and survived another hot summer there!?

So, supposedly there are 4 deaths in Rangers for every one billion miles, or one for every 250 million miles.
That is the equivalent of about 10,000 trips around the earth's circumference.
Well, I am going to throw caution to the wind, and try to beat the odd's. Will start today on my 10,000 trips around the earth.....leaving shortly and will let you all know how it went upon my return, tonight at around 7pm. Gassed up, but may have to stop a few times for fill-ups and potttie breaks.
But, I have full confidence in my Ranger's ability to bring me home safely....:like:

Not sure, my insurance went down when I traded a '16 Ram in for a '23 Ranger.
