I'm aware how easy they are, and TBH, coming from the VW/Euro car world, panels are much easier to remove. But I was already there for an oil change and it was under warranty so let them mess with it I sayThat panel is very easy to remove.
You can fix it yourself in less time than it would take to explain the problem to the dealer.
The panel is held in place with plastic clips.
I've had mine off many times and never broken one.
Start by popping the panel off at the rear and carefully work your way toward the front.
Looking at the pic, I'm going to guess that one of the plastic clips is not fully seated in its retainer.
