Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

Is this typical? I paid them August 3rd and gave them my trade in, yet it wasnt ordered until September 3rd?

It is up to the dealer - I went to the dealer on 12/23 and my order was placed/accepted by Ford on 12/26. I think part of that was due to Christmas. I've heard others having been submitted days or weeks after they put down their money.

Is that typical? Not at the dealer I usually use. My orders have usually gone in same day or next.

The Visibility system doesn't like that VIN. Can you double check it for me please?

The VIN is correct - if it means anything I was able to get the Window Sticker from the Ford site. Vehicle Description on sticker is
exactly as ordered.

It looks to be a Canadian vehicle - wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Is there a reason why VINs of dealer ordered trucks don't show up in the customer tracking system? I'm trying to figure out if I was passed a bunch of BS on my order being prioritized. For example the dealer I ordered from has this truck "is in transit" but no info like when it was ordered (mine was going to "jump to the head of the line" of their outstanding orders). The VIN is 1FTER1FH6KLB15699

Stock order trucks are not able to be tracked because Ford is only allowing retail orders to be tracked.

And, that truck isn't in transit. It won't be built until October 23rd. It was scheduled to be built before you ordered your truck.

I've never had a problem with Canadian vehicles before. Occasionally I get a VIN that when entered, the system wont take it. This might be one of those times.

Is it normal for the timeline to change back and forth? It was showing “in production“ with a message to look at my window sticker and something about an update at this stage takes a few days all weekend but yesterday it’s back to in process. I swing by my dealer on the way home yesterday to find a new guy was the sales manager and my sales rep on vacation.
For a second there, I thought I might get lucky with an early build like some of the others...

The system gives an ETA date range. The tracker usually uses the farthest date. Your date range is the 15th to the 19th. It's currently on a train in Oakwood MI.

Nothing has changed. Still scheduled for November 14th.

Edit: My wife looked at the dealer site and it still shows a build date of 11/14?
