I have the Primo arm rest & it’s great. Metal is strong & bendable so adjusts for comfort. As it came 90degree & was too tall so I angled it slightly down & it’s perfect. Arm doesn’t slide off. Also I wear shorts often & if my left leg isn’t straight out I’ll have it bent 90 degree & my knee presses against door handle. So I bought neoprene foam(as someone above used on the armrest) off Amazon, cut to fit handle & 3 pads thick. Easy cheap fix for comfort.

Ripstop by looking at the pics on the site(specific pattern). But not for any particular reason. I don’t remember even making that choice months ago but happy I did. Feels very tough and comfortable.

Yeah thats facts, if you have something holding your arm up it restricts your range of motion and ability to maneuver. I will sometimes use the window sill like you but with that I can lift off quickly to maneuver if needed. Big ass cushion on the door is kinda sketchy from a safety standpoint.
How so?

Windows are tinted but it doesn’t touch the window. Pad just sits in the sill.

You are restricting your range of motion if you need to maneuver quickly, you can't effectively turn the wheel to the left without a lot of extra movements. There is a very good reason that space and the respective space where the right arm would be is kept open and clear.

I've got those in my Amazon wish list. How do you like them ? Need something like these to raise my left arm on the arm rest.
My other alternative is to buy a piece of firm memory foam and have my better half sew up some covers.
I guess I have long enough upper arms that my elbow reaches down to the armrest just fine. Either that or you have your seats jacked way up.

I likt to sit high, so I do have the seat up as high as it will go. In addition I have the drivers side Seat Jackers which up the front of the seat another 3/4 inch. I'm very comfortable, but would like a bit of a rise in the left arm rest.

I would really have to contort myself or gain 50 to 75 pounds before putting my elbow on the pictured armrest would restrict my motion. I weighed 220 when I bought mine.
We are all different and it never occurred to me that someone large enough to be that confined in the cab of a Ranger would even buy one instead of a F150.

Idk if we are talking about the same thing, I am talking about the massive foam block the guy put on the door armrest that sticks out really far

yeah
I want to add to this as well, it's my one big complaint, I didn't notice it when I was test driving it, I got a '22 back in '22 and I just can't find a comfortable position, the door arm rest are SOOOOO Low and far off, if I drive with hands on bottom of the wheel then I can elbow on center counsel and armrest, but then the armrests are so small.....it's really annoying, even with the telescope wheel it's still too high...I am pretty damn close to the wheel with my seating....it's too bad, Im gonna try that amazon thing but that's annoying looks goofy...

today i was just so pissed that i couldn't find a good seating position that i was online looking to see if I was the only one...apparently not....im 5'10"
