I didn't realize flashing back to stock would be so quick. That's good to know. I like the idea of just keeping the tuner in the glove box. Thank you.
Flashing back to STOCK is NOT quick.

Flashing between different Livernois tunes IS quick.

Flashing between tunes only rewrites the tables that are different in the tunes, I think it was around 11 blocks to be written

Flashing back to stock rewrites everything, so 94 blocks to be written instead of 11, so it takes a while.

Hey Bryan,

Like Dave said, I have been running the FP tune ridiculously hard with full bolt ons minus the downpipe with no issues. I average 13 mpg on lighter wheels than stock so no huge tires just driving it like it’s stolen. Yeah nothing wrong yet and I installed the tune when the truck had 250 miles on it. Now at 50k miles. I guess the only real issue is having too much smiles per gallon but less miles per gallon ?

One thing to note though, which wasn’t much of an issue a few years ago… there is a company that builds bigger turbos for the ranger and I’ve been considering one but I would need a tune that can be adjusted with data and by a tuner. So if you plan on going balls out crazy with engine mods, I would say no FP tune.
13mpg, someone is putting that fun pedal to good use?
Yeah it’s looking like I’m going to go livernoise for sure, have a little flexibility choosing tunes and it being a tuner from the company that assisted ford with it… just makes more sense to go that route. (To me anyhow)

Livernois is a great option. Probably would be the one I would choose if I were to do it over again

OP- Pick whatever tune you like, stick with it and it will be fine for off road in any mode

Is what I do. Towing, off-roading, hauling, normal use - all on same tune. Not good to go back and forth

It’s nice to be able to have ford performance on ford vehicles too, but that I think is some sort of obsession with things matching?.

Now that I have that figured out I can get back to teaching our new kitten how to play fetch?

For what it's worth at least this particular individual is willing to admit how they drive as for why they're MPG is so low. If only others would admit that kind of stuff to go against Fords claim of great fuel mileage
