In either case, I would get a very through checkup by a good mechanic. Most of the folks with no issues want to keep their Rangers, those plagued with issues trade them out. My 21 is not so decontented that I really care.
Yes. And make sure the power train 5/60 is still in play. I've never bought a used vehicle so I wouldn't know for sure. I just replaced my transmission at 37000ish miles. It was painless, but still a hassle. I had known it was heading south, so I also hustled up an extended warranty from Granger. I didn't need it for this, but I'm now covered out to 10 yrs / 125K miles.

one or two years back and you can save $40k! I was looking at a 24 the other day they wanted $66k plus extras LOLROF and I have found them used with under 15k miles on them, you can use that $40k to buy an extended warranty or fix anything that goes wrong LOL
and I dont want to put her in a 2024, things have changed to much, its an unknown... we know our 19-23 same truck, all the same parts break etc....
she wont go crazy with bolt-ons, tunes or extras like a lift or even level she does have 20s and big tires on her chevy 1500 4x4 and a lift LOL but at 5 foot and 115 lbs thats a big ass truck for her, it has 250k on it now, I have been telling her for a year now its time to ditch it :)
she asked if Ford had anything in a truck that was smaller, the only thing I could think of was the Maverick, but ..... No
my dog dont fit in her 1500 now, we would never be able to take scooby in a Maverick LOL
this is scooby in her 1500

Scooby will fit in the front seat of the Maverick. The question is whether you fit in the back or not ?

Girlfriend sounds like a keeper... She won't need the 303 if you treat her right... The damper is personal choice
She likes trucks 4 wheeling and my K9 so I am going to put up with her, as a joke I am going to make her buy a damper :) she has 900 acres in PA thats about 3 square miles of woods, and can go from that to fit in down in New York City. yep keeper :)
1am we were sitting by the freedom tower trying for a contact high, everywhere we went smelled like skunk LOL

We went on a weekend trip and now she wants one, we can add all the bolt ons after I just need to start her out with a good low miles truck, she just got rid of a Chevy 1500 4x4 she had to 10 years, it was a little big for her, she wanted an scab but I dont see any, I am trying to keep it below $28k "cash" if I can
Looking on the internet for a good used loaded XLT I have found 2 that meet the bill a 2019 with 54k at a dealer and a 22 XLT 14k on marketplace
What should I Offer? on this ....

just based on your Title alone,I'd suggest the easiest way is to open the door for her. :^)

we are both in our upper 50s but act 20s
Don't ever let her buy those
well not sure she can be trusted to surf the internet without buying something she thinks looks cool LOL hey look a cute radio, I say Oh FFS a lot hahaha
she went out for tires last year for her 1500 4x4 and came back with 20 inch rims and 35 inch mudders LOL and that lead to a lift kit OMG
I will be lucky if she only buys an after market intake or maybe ditch lights :)

Have you considered gymnastic lessons? Maybe she can pull a Nadia Comaneci after you open the door of for the Bronze and thru a half open window for the Gold.
