Low Coolant

Anyone else have low coolant issues in your ranger? I have 33k miles and live at sea level. Any thoughts?

Cold starts have quite a bit of white billowy smoke ever since I bought the truck. I have the pro cal tune and run 91 octane. I’m the original owner.

Have you ever added coolant or is this the factory fill that you are showing? Is the picture taken when the engine is cold?

The level is low whether the engine is hot or cold, but does change slightly. I havent added any coolant, this is still from factory.

Since you've never added any coolant, I don't think that you have a problem. I would add enough to bring the level to the cold fill line (Min) and keep an eye on it. Most cars lose a little coolant like that over time.

I have 74,000 miles on my 2020 and have added a half gallon of coolant over that time.
I used Prestone Platinum, it's supposed to be a match for the factory fill.

47,000 miles…. I got my truck NEW with 15 miles… I do oil changes every 5k miles..

I had the radiator coolant flushed in June of this year and look what I noticed. Where should I start? Should I be worried? Thanks guys

I would fill it to the cold fill line and keep an eye on it. It may have had air in the system after the flush that worked its way out. It is probably not a problem.

Yeah when I did the flush a few days later it was looking right under the min line so I added and now slightly more less than back in June.. so add what do you recommend because I had a concentrated coolant so I added the concentrated mix with that very very filtered super filter of water so I just add some more water again alkaline?? thanks
