I love the fact that I can pick my daily drive's musical playlist on my phone, and then the Lariat can pick it up automatically via Bluetooth. Who would have thought that driving to work could be so much fun?

just got the truck, but I'm enjoying the details they put into it!

1. ability to keep the rear view camera active for a few seconds after I flip it into drive
2. felt pads built into the rear seat belt pillars to keep the buckets 'clicking' against it
3. how useful the touch-screen really is
4. the little 'ranger' bottom middle of the windshield.
5. left windshield wiper is larger than the right; it clears more of the windshield AND wipes in front of the sensors on the other side of the rear-view mirror.

.... and I'm sure there's more coming!

How do you do that? Or does it do it on its own and I’ve just not noticed?

Ohh... It's burried in the menus somewhere

Settings/vehicle/camera/enable camera delay

Or something like that... I'll have to double check tomorrow. It keeps the rear camra displaying for around 5 seconds so it lets you fine-tune the parking or double check traffic.

Thanks! I’ll look for it tomorrow. That’s exactly why I was interested in it, for parking.

1. The flip down head rests in the back seat are so you can fully open the view through the back window on a daily driving basis. A passenger simply flips it up when needed. They definitely aren't for the seat that doesn't fold flat.

2. AdvanceTrac impressed me yesterday. I was messing around driving like an asshole in sport mode and took a left corner at about 35 or 40 on dry pavement. It pinged just the front right ABS to combat the oversteer, the bouncy fx4 flopped the truck into a straight line on the new track after the turn. It was very fast acting and shockingly well executed.
Hey, Fusseli, thanks for the tip about putting the back headrests down! I did not even know we could do that! We just use the back of our super-crew to store sporting goods and other assorted junk, have never had anyone actually sit back there, and so I will be leaving them down on a semi-permanent basis! Definitely improves vision through the back window!

The Off button on the Stop/Start control...
Regards
If I tape the button down all the time will it stay off. I think in time this will not be an option. Rules bring passed that impede on freedom.

Having amber turn signal lights in the rear. I know, a seemingly unoticeable thing to most people. But I've always hated vehicles that have red rear turn signals, let alone not even having separate bulbs for them. Makes it really hard to know if someone is braking when they have hazards on or if one of their tail-lights is out, or anything like that. Plus, having them be amber, makes them stand out a lot more from the overall red of the brake lights.

Love the way the Turbo sounds with WOT. I do it often, whenever I see some open road. Love the all black interior including almost total blackout dash on the XL . Love the Sync voice control. Love the compliments I get almost daily on the truck, and the stares from people trying to figure out what it is.

Love the height and rake of the truck. Love the fact that I can turn off the seat belt alarms. Love everything except ASS Start stop.
How do you turn off the seat belt alarm?

No, but if you plug a tiny nightlight into the 120V outlet in the console it will.

There's some ridiculously complex seat belt dance you have to do which involves clicking and unclicking them a few times. It's in the manual.

I like the removable seat pads on the SuperCab rear seats, definitely helps compensate for the more limited storage space on the SuperCab when you don't have rear passengers. Would be nice if the seat backs were also easily removable, but they don't take up that much space.

One thing I DON'T like so far: If you have cruise set to adaptive mode, and if the sensor gets blocked by snow, it completely disables cruise control rather than automatically backing off to normal cruise control. You have to go back through the menus and manually set it back to normal.

There are so many things I love about this truck, but for me the best has been the compliments. Taco guys, old Ranger guys, Chevy guys.... they all love it! I also like the look on the face of Taco drivers when we meet up at a light and I leave them in the dust.
On a more serious note the best thing is the stock capabilities of these things. Took a trip.to the sand dunes where modified vehicles were getting stuck and I just kept on my way with the stock rubber still on the truck. Romping deep sand with stock rubber is, admittedly, a poor choice. That's why I was so impressed when the truck had no issues.
