Alrighty, so with my 2012 Frontier that I got I decided to go ahead and get a NISMO Cat Back Exhaust for it. Honestly it's probably just a Borla Type S, but I liked having the NISMO Name and it was a little bit better price surprisingly.
After I installed the exhaust I decided to get curious with the Factory Muffler and see how it was designed. Come to find out its just a Turbo Style that is somewhat restrictive. Just not as restrictive as the Ford one.
I remember someone here cutting a Ranger Muffler and I would love to have it posted here for comparison. Why you ask? Because why not.
So here is the Frontier Factory Muffler. The plate all the way to the left has 4 tiny holes. The middle and right plate have a bunch of holes with different size holes in each.
