I watched a video on this, guess they had to make it a single shot because of the size of the round an to add mass to stablize it. Normally those are an over/under.Novelty Item Unless someone walks through the front door ..

Yes, 28 ounces.(1.75 pounds)I watched a video on this, guess they had to make it a single shot because of the size of the round an to add mass to stablize it. Normally those are an over/under.
Yes, suggests subsonic or cowboy loads for reduced recoil. levorevolution and like rounds are out of the question.I was thinking the same thing, normally 2 rounds. it would be like a small brick if it had two rounds. my young and dumb side says ohhh must try 45 70 in a small package. my more refined lol side says 45 70 in a small piece sounds like an ouchie waiting to happen. i wish bond would make a revolver or even shotgun. the quality from bond arms is great. but i dont need 90% of what they sell. of course need is a loose term when it comes to rangers or guns.
I saw several in the used case today when my friends an I stopped in to look around the local shop. $500 for a used one seems crazy IMO an they had one for $350. My P938 is about the same size an weight an packs 7 shots.the quality from bond arms is great.
Id say the bond arms are a narrow market item. most folks will want the higher round count. i know they are popular for things like snake adjusters or as a side arm when deer hunting. 500 used is too high. one can get a new one starting in the high 200s. depends on the model of course. the fancy ones get pretty pricey.I saw several in the used case today when my friends an I stopped in to look around the local shop. $500 for a used one seems crazy IMO an they had one for $350. Oh yeah a 45-70 rat shot!?!? Do they make those? Or do you just throw a 410 shell in?? Now I'm interested.Id say the bond arms are a narrow market item. most folks will want the higher round count. i know they are popular for things like snake adjusters or as a side arm when deer hunting. 500 used is too high. one can get a new one starting in the high 200s. depends on the model of course. the fancy ones get pretty pricey.
I saw this on a search too but it's not a commercially available round. Probably the 44 magnum one would be better for that. 44 CCI ratshot is readily available.“The .45-70 "forager" round, which contained a thin wooden bullet filled with birdshot, was intended for hunting small game to supplement the soldiers' rations.[3][4] This round in effect made the .45-70 rifle into a small gauge shotgun, capable of killing rabbits, ducks, and other similar game animals”
