Got pods installed today and ready for snow. A few updates have been done. Putting plow on is a 5 minute deal. Modest snow in our forecast.

we do see snow here. Seems I've posted this pic before. this is located about 15 miles from our home. Love the little girl who got in the pic!

That was an awesome winter and I can’t remember any that have approached it since. I wasn't even of driving age at that time but did walk a mile home from school, my buddies and I were pushing out stuck cars on the way. Would love to test out the Ranger in those conditions.

Interesting picture but in my opinion so so wrong. Snow should be seen from afar, like on a mountain, not where one lives...

Wow that's a lot of snow! We don't get snow here. More than half of Australia lies within the tropic zone. It only reliably snows in two small areas of Australia in winter. The aptly named Snowy mountains about 1800 Km south west from here, and in Tasmania. My children only saw snow for the first time when in their mid- late teens a few years ago in Kanab Utah on a bus trip of south western National Parks in the US.
Needless to say the bus passengers, ironically mostly English and European tourists were highly amused, and were eager to give advice on how snowballs should be correctly constructed for a good snow fight!

I remember earlier this year when my wife and I were in Alaska, taking the train from Juneau up to Fraser in Canada and coming back by road. On the way up the snow drifts were higher than the train (wow).
On the way back I asked the bus driver what purpose those funny looking things which looked like street lights, but didn't have lights on them performed, and why the ends were painted yellow then red. His answer yellow is mellow and red, you're dead. I didn't realise they indicated where the edge of the road was when the whole thing was level with snow. Another thing we never see here.

On the trails today to roll since we were tired of waiting for more. This is 1/3 the volume we like to and normally start with. Trained in new 11yo. He did fine operating a 85hp machine.
