Received and installed the White Knuckle Off Road sliders/steps. Packaged extremely well and quality looks spectacular. I was able to do the install alone using a jack and jack stands as listed in the instructions. Took me about 2.5 hours and that was with opening up the boxes, grabbing my tools, installing both sides, and picking everything up.

I have the OE wheels with 1" spacers. The 285s rub ever so slightly, but I also run 285/75r17. You would probably be better off with 285/70r17 if you're worried about rubbing. I did have to take out the crash bars and the waffle boxes but, again... 75 vs 70 sidewall.
Thank you !

Shelly got washed and waxed, now everyone can see fords best color option even better. Any suggestions on how to remove water spots from glass?

Steel wool the finest you can get. Be sure everything is dry and only do glass on the outside..anything else it will damage.

They looked so good I checked out ordering a set but $1200 is too much for me.
They certainly are purposefully built though.

it is a good color when sparkling clean! I had a magnetic mustang and it looked so blah in the dark or with any dirt or dust. but on a sunny day with it clean it looked sweet.

Rayon pad and some glass polish on a polisher is the quuckest way...

I polished our outback windows - all but the windshield - it had horrid water spots and it got rid of all of them...

Also, everyone should have at least a 5inch polisher.... ?

It does show alot more dirt than I'd like but it's still the greatest color choice out there!

You too have an empty wire harness loom clip, I thought mine was empty cause mines 2WD and that was reserved for transfer-case related stuff.

Now I'm more curious.

edit- to specify:

YES!

I had noticed it before and just stayed under the truck staring at it. I looked around at what could’ve been broken or ripped off in one of my many off-road trips. No idea what it’s for and puzzling to just see it there with nothing around.

You are correct on them being pricey. I received them on Friday, and had placed the order for them on Black Friday. The sale they were running pretty much helped with shipping, which is expensive seeing as how heavy the main box is(three boxes in total. One large box for the sliders, one small box with nuts, bolts, and backplates, and another long but slimmer box for the top plates I optioned for).

Are these overkill for the type of off-roading I do? Probably. Though I also look at not wanting to be limited at what I can do with the truck if I just have regular step bars. If I never come crashing down on them so be it. Though if I do come down hard and protect the doors/body from possibly taking on bad damage, then I see it as a smart investment.
