Ha, some are good, some, not so much, the person who got 10 will need magnifying glasses, the person who got 17 won’t be able to read the numbers on the bracket.
They are all done differently, with 2 different engravers.

Mike if you’re interested there are Rotary engraving tools that write much easier than the old style engravers.

So you guys must be thinking “how sloppy could he get”
The process is this, I serialize all the hoses, heat the hose to xxx, put in shaping fixture, cool to xx, release hose from fixture, reinstall hose in fixture with only one clamp (to mimic aluminum housing on engine) size stick to hose , pull stick from fixture, engrave stick with hose number, so with my gloves on I have trouble with the engraving coming out nicely, it was for matching purposes, had I thought the customer would be looking at it, I would have made it nicer, but it worked fine for me, I can read my writing, but nobody else can.

No duplicates, just hard to read engraving, but they were only meant to be read by me and when you only do a batch of 10 at a time, there are no mix ups. as a note the handle is always to the right when reading it.

Well I found out why the requests for Dipsticks has jumped up in the last week, it made it out to the Facebook 2019 Ranger page, I was hoping it would have taken longer, I'm glad to have a avenue to new customers, but I am very busy in here for now.
