I might got myself a Raptor, kind of accidentally

To tell the truth I’ve been feeling quite down lately. I’ve owned and sold many cars and I know letting this one finally go won’t be easy for me. 14 months and 35 000 kms together. None of my vehicles have taught me so much in such a short time and went through such adventures with me. At the moment I’m too blinded of letting Wildtrak go and not able to concentrate on waiting Raptor. I know, time will fix it

Yes I know how you feel, last time I had a 4x4 I liked this much it was my old Bronco. Bought it in 1986, kept it until 1999. Had to fix quite a few things in that time, but it kept on going, and we went many places, almost cris crossing the continent, had over 500,000 Km when I finally (sadly) got rid of it.

The Nissan pathfinder that replaced it was a nice car, but never quite the same. (didn't leak, didn't rust, hardly ever broke down, didn't feature the shoddy LHD to RHD conversion that Ford did on all the Australian F series, etc )- just didn't have the same character.

Some of you know I took a test drive with a Raptor just out of curiosity. It was in may. Curiosity turned into serious interest but no action was planned yet. I just did what I did
And suddenly one V6 popped out just for me! I’m still unconscious as there are none available at the moment and I didn’t expect that. Positive words to my dealer.
Next days will show if stars align for me enough to complete this deal and you can kick me out of this crooked parking 5G Rangers forum or I’ll stay for a while more.

Gave to my Wildtrak last bath today. Kind of everything I do to her or with her are last. Most of my stuff is gone from there. Will deliver her to the new owner in three days. Due to bureaucracy I can continue with Raptor after 2 weeks.
