Might be a stretch but it’s probably possible to get near those numbers. Definitely not a good idea to try doing on 35-37” tires. Simply going from stock tires to Nitto 33’s cost 20hp on the dyno with my truck.
What are you pushing to the wheels?

Stock turbo, full bolt on including turbo inlet pipe. My truck makes 332/367 to the wheels on 93 with stock tires. New turbo coming soon but I really don’t expect much more from it without using ethanol. It would be nice to get 350/390 but idk.
If I can stretch the fuel system a little bit I’ll mix ethanol to get a better number but I really don’t think has enough pump for that. Gonna see, might be cool. Regardless I’m not pushing my stock motor much further than 400rwhp if even that far. Just because it will make it doesn’t mean it will make it very long. ?

Never heard of Mounttune but Esslinger already has that and they've been the ONLY name in 2.3 performance for decades. If my engine ever goes, I'm calling them.

Maybe I'm not understanding something right so help me out here. Aren't all of these engine castings specific to Ecoboost cars (mustang, focus, fiesta) AND have locations for the motor mounts in specific locations which won't bolt up to the Ford Ranger?

Where did you order your turbo from and which one and did you order a new one or sent your current turbo?

I got it from a guy with a Maverick actually. It’s called Fast Mavericks on Facebook. I can put you in contact with him if you’re interested. I’ll also be doing a dyno before and after with a few other parts comparisons too once I get it. It’s a big wheel stock hot side turbo.

Oh yea the guy with the fastest Maverick!
So is it the same turbo we have or is it different entirely or what is a big wheel stock hot side turbo?

It’s a brand new stock Ranger turbo with a machined compressor housing and bigger billet wheel. Also bullet tip and coated are options.

There are Mustangs with the 10R80 (built transmissions) putting a thousand horsepower through them.

I think the transmission will be okay if you spend money on it. As for the rear end IDK.

Yep it's a known fact to have the transmission built for "heavy towing" on the single cab f150's

I think my only real options that offer strength are either swapping to an f150 rear end with taller gears or a custom 9" that's trussed.

I think I did see a truss for our D44's but I don't remember where.
