Anyone build a brace to fit between the notches of a pivot box? If so, can you share your blueprints? ?
Also, can I leave a bungee cord attached to the tie down hooks to keep things like groceries and stuff from going towards the front of the bed? Or will leaving the bungee cord on there most of the time eventually pull on the bed sides too much?
Would a ratchet strap be better than a bungee cord?

IIRC correctly the tie-downs are rated to 600lbs, so a semi-permanent bungee should be fine, but I wouldn't use it as an anchor to swing humans off the side of a bridge or anything crazy like that ;)

Friday yet?

If a bungee cord puts too much force on the side of the bed your Ranger has bigger problems than using a bungee cord.
My thoughts exactly.
