Just to make it official, I wanted to post a pic here.

I'm really amazed by how this damn truck changes color depending on how the light hits it, what kind of light, etc. etc. It doesn't show up at all in pictures, unfortunately.

It's funny reading the threads about this color on here, the maverick and bronco forums.

Just think you can add a tinted clear coat and have the exalted Rapid Red!!! Still a great color… for a start ? Don’t mind me I’m just a little biased…

Looks to me like Hot Pepper Red and Chrome Package are a perfect match...

It is nice looking but HPR is the way to go regardless; I just hope the chrome they used is thick...the last two cars I had started to rust under the chrome in about 3-4 years (of course after warranty).

It's a 2019 with 60K miles. The rails are after-market but the trim is original chrome package, it still looks like new.

That's good to know...the cars were Honda's, so I was not sure if it was all manufactures or just Honda.

It's the Pimp Edition, sure that is extra heavy duty chrome.

in an absolute sea of monochromatic monotony, proud to be hot pepper red. I still, STILL love this color.

Monochromic monotony is right! Where is the color these days? Black, white, sometimes dark gray/charcoal I call it. I remember going to the auto dealers for the launch of the new cars back in the day and I don't remember very few black or white vehicles. People were interested in seeing color. If my entire extended family owns 15 vehicles , bet at least 10 are white. I've got a Hot Pepper Red 2019 Ranger and am still getting compliments on the color. Do think a totally clean black vehicle looks okay and silver not bad. But I'm all for getting some more color in this world!
