Rained the last 24 hrs and supposed to continue another 12 or so.

Not typical at all for the front range. But we need it.

I have had a heavy thunderstorm capmed over my house for the past 4 hours and heavy rain.

We're still having below normal weather here and I'll take it. We're still getting 2-3 days of 100-102 then a 5-6 day cool down. I know it sounds strange to most when you see 98-99 and think "that's cool" but compared to the 105+ we usually have now this is perfect. The nights are still nice (60's) so I can open all the doors and windows early and get the house cooled off inside pretty easy. AC only comes on around 2:00 pm.

But I lived in Prescott or Payson I wouldn't have to worry so much about the temps.?

Highs in the upper 70s for the rest of the week here.
I'm blessed (and you could be too!) To be able to sit here with doors open and a cool slight breeze wafting through the house to cool it down enough the AC won't come on at all til well after lunch.
Listening to all the neighborhood birds wake up...quail calling to each other...watching the bunnies play in the front yard and eat bird food off my quail block ?

Looks like the predicted temps for next week went down a little. They were forecasting 120 for next weekend but the monsoon season must be starting with all that chance of rain in the forecast now. Honestly I'd rather it be 115 and dry because 115 and humid is going to be nasty.
