Even with the uber battery you are lucky to get 100 miles out of them when towing!

Agreed, the market for that truck is not those that tow out on the road to races and such, just in town towing. But still for the price to tow more than a Ranger, it's too much IMO. As I've said before, if I need to tow more than my Ranger can tow, I'll get a SuperDuty or rent one when needed.

Giving that thing a Mustang name was a black day in Ford's history. That is a stain on the Mustang name. Had a Mustang GT for many years, and I wouldn't consider the E a true Mustang. Think they named it that so it might appeal to the true Mustang owner.

I read an article on a news app that EV sales aren't keeping pace with the increase in production. The companies are building more than the demand will buy, especially in the luxury segment. It said something like "there's currently less than a 40 day supply of ICE vehicles on dealership lots, over 90 day supply of EVs an over a 300 day supply of some lux EV's." It cited the Infinity flagship as the 300 day supply vehicle saying only 8 have been sold this year.

And if interest rates were down I'd be in the dealers lot tomorrow to buy an EV.

They make sense for commuting around town and if you live within an hour of work. Even better if your employer offers free EV charging as a benefit...

Ford is reportedly offering a $1,500 discount on the 2023 F-150 Lightning in some regions. That’s after a series of price hikes that leave it costing nearly 50% higher, in its base Lightning Pro version, than it originally did for 2022.

Well now $1,500 off a $70k vehicle should bring hordes of customers stampeding their local Ford store , gotta hand it to Farley he knows how to play the crowd.
