@IdahoRanger is right - didn't think I wanted those until I saw @AzScorpion 's initial post about them LOL do you know if an XLT can have the mirror turn signals added?
If you don't have the turn signals on the mirrors now I don't think you could without going and getting Lariat ones. Even then I'm not sure how different (if any) the wiring is. But don't listen to me when it comes to wiring because I know enough about wiring to get myself in trouble. ?

Ya, I would need to get Lariat mirror caps (or mirrors all together), paint match, and figure out the wiring. I am not totally comfortable with wiring either. The juice may not be worth the squeeze at the end of the day...

I am liking those bulbs. Which lumen rating did you get and how hard are all three lights to replace?
I went with the HP5 (92 lumens) on the cargo lights. For the 3rd brake light, I did HP5 (4 lumens) as well. Personally, I did not see the value add in paying up for the higher lumen output (210 lumens and 60 lumens respectively).

Install was easy - took 5 to 10 minutes to take off lens, pull old bulbs, replace with LEDs, and put everything back together.

Thanks Mark! I agree - this forum has been great so I wanted to add my mods for anyone with cash burning a hole in their wallet. I have bought a few items simply because of this forum...LOL Send me your build when you post it.
Will do Brandon. Yes after almost 3 years of ownership I have spent a ton on mods. I am glad I did. I sure love my Ranger.

Welcome to the forum Brandon! Gorgeous truck - and awesome thread. I'm also liking the simple Diode Dynamics 3rd brake bulb change. I've added them to my wish list.
Thanks Adam! I like the splash decals against the blue on your truck - breaks up the color nicely. The DD blubs are an easy add and the cargo LED gives off great light at night.

Unfortunately I did not get a before and after but I added the FOX 2.0 Stage 1 Leveling Kit (front coilovers and rear shocks). I am happy with the on-road and off-road performance of this set up. It eliminated the "riding in a boat" feeling when going over bumps with the stock rake stance, leveled the truck, and reduced rebound in turns with bumps. I contemplated going with the FOX 2.5 Stage 3 Suspension Package but could not justify the extra cost and several reviews talked about the stiffness of the suspension on-road. This is my daily so did not want to compromise on-road comfort for off-road performance - to each their own though.

Welcome, Brandon.
I see you are already on a spending spree with mods.
Good, make it your own.
It's a good thing I'm a lazy ass, otherwise I'd be spending a bunch on my truck.
Especially with the 3rd brake and side markers.

Thanks Jason! I found a good deal on the truck and had a small budget to make it my own.

On the mirrors. There is a thread on here about swapping in Lariat for XLT. You have to run more wires to get all the “extras” working. It’s a fair amount of work but not all that difficult as someone documented their journey doing just this.

Only way I could justify that upgrade myself is soundproofing my doors and adding LED pipes on the door panels to get the most for my efforts tearing everything apart to get er done.
