I have recently purchased running board led lights for my 2019 Ford ranger lariat, and the lights come with amber and white. 4 different color wires, white for door assist, red for parking light, yellow for turn signal, and black for ground. Can anyone tell me where I can find a place to tie these in? Pictures may help better then words as I'm not that great with mechanic talk. Please and thank you

I bought the OPT7's that are wired the same. Did you ever figure out which wires were which for turn signals, parking lights, and courtesy lights? I installed my bed lights yesterday and want to get the running board lights up and running ASAP.

Another thread on running board lights today...
I get it is probably annoying, but like this one, I can't find anywhere where someone is able to point out which wires on the truck match each function. Any help at all would be appreciated.

haha no worry...I wanted mine on with my markers so I tapped into the front side marker wires...very simple...if you want them on independently, then you'll need to find a live line and switch it...

Those look good man. That's a clean install. I still haven't had time to install the running board lights, and am still searching for any info as to which color wires are the turn signal wires and parking light wires. Probably gonna fool around with it tomorrow after work.

Unplug one of the front fender marker lights...there's two wires...I can't remember but it'll be clear which on is positive...tap power from that line...

Understood. This is for the turn signal wire? I see you call them marker lights. Just want to make sure I'm understanding the lingo. Thanks for your help man!

Due respect, but hit the turn signal switch and see if the light blinks. :)

Update:

I got my turn signal and running lights wired up for the running board lights (OPT-7 Sequential). I wired everything to the back taillights and everything works great. I have yet to locate the dome light wire under the door sill plate. That's the only thing I have left. IF this helps anyone, the wires I tapped into from the taillights are as follows:

Lightest Blue Wire - Turn Signal
Yellow Wire - Running Lights (these were supposed to be wired to the parking lights, but i prefer they stay on while I'm riding)

I know some folks have mentioned that there is a white wire with a green stripe, or vice versa, that are the dome lights under the door sill plate, but, there are (2) of those wires that are the same color, so I was nervous about tapping into the wrong one. Same goes for the gray wire with a violet stripe. Any tips or suggestions?

The pigtail part number is useful, I wonder if there are connectors for the other side to fab up a harness to plug in between...
My RTR grille lights harness has a male and female of that connector, which connects inline on the back of the headlight.

That seems like a lot of extra work and cost, compared to simply splicing into 2 wires though.

Update #2:

Got my courtesy lights working. Prior to wiring this up, someone mentioned that I would find the dome light wire under the rear driver side door sill, and that it was a white wire with a green stripe. Not sure if the 2023's are different, but I tapped into this wire and nothing happened. I tapped a White w/ Brown stripe wire and this worked perfectly. I had to bring both running board wires over to the driver side read door sill to tap into this wire. Could not find the dome light wire under passenger side read door sill. I extended the passenger side running board courtesy light wire over by soldering and heat shrinking the wires together. Used plastic corrugated raceway to route under the frame and zip-tied it until I reached right under the driver side door sill. Drilled a hole through and pulled the wires in and then sealed so water could not make its way inside. Running board lights work like a charm now! Thanks everyone for all of your input. If anyone has any questions or wants to know how I wired everything up, feel free to DM and I would be happy to talk you through it.
