Driving to work today the road was littered with small rocks. Most likely from a quarry truck spilling it all over since they are like half the vehicles on the road in my area.
Anyway, a rock got kicked up and I felt it hit my rear passenger door and sure enough (2) chips about half the size of my pinky nail.
Sucks for sure but kinda relieved SinJin got its first paint chip. Only 5800 miles in. I’d love to keep SinJin pristine but admit I’d rather have a bunch of paint chips and it runs like a champ for 150,000 plus miles than the opposite.
Anyway my question is can I just leave the chip be? I have touch up paint but previous cars I had when I did touch up paint it actually looked worse than the chip itself. ?
