Since there's a Lego thread, and not a Hot Wheels/Die-Cast thread, I though I'd make one.

I think everyone collected them when they were a kid, but then most of us forget about them later on in life, but sometime in 2018, I saw this at Target and that's when things kinda got overloaded not long after!

Since I love Porsche's and VW's, I bought it! This is #1 of this set, which at the time, I just thought there were 3 of the, due to what's on the back of the card. There are currently 43 of these Team Transport sets! I have all but the newest 6! Plus there were 2 Walmart Exclusives, (have 1) and 1 Target Exclusive which is $250+ if you can find one....

Here was what our Office walls looked like a couple of years ago:

I have most of these in storage, in our attic now, just because I decided to keep a few of my favorites out on display, but I've also got my Lego and custom Transformers on display too.

I started going to Hot Wheels and die-cast shows and spending $200-$300 within a couple of hours, at the bi-yearly shows! This was from the first show in October 2018. I think I spent $200 on this stuff?

I think I've been to 4 local shows since then, (2 in 2019 and 2 this year), since they didn't have any shows for '20 & '21, due to the Rona... I have bought so many Hot Wheels, die-cast, etc since 2018, that I have so many 40 gallon plastic totes, full to the top, in our attic!

This pic is 110% accurate!

Found this the other day and bought it, since it's a 5G Ranger :)

This thing might be a 1/32nd scale? It's definitely not a 1/24th or 1/25th scale, like I was assuming it was, before ordering it... I have plans to customize it like my Ranger :)

Anyway, here recently, I've been trying to find more Premium cars, anything Porsche related or just unique (to me) cars. I'll post some updated pics, one I get some cars rearranged, if anyone's interested?

Yall post some cool stuff?

I used to collect johnny lightning die cast cars. I quit back in 2000 after a trip to the flea market where I spent several hundred dollars one afternoon. Had a wall covered with them. No pic avail. But now they're all boxed up in the shed along with all the action die cast that I also got into collecting for a while. I have a crystal John force car, i have the 10 time champ car and the transport. Wow memories. Time to go play in the shed.

I used to collect the diecast (Ferrari, Porsche, Vettes) and Starting Line Up figures. Have sold most of the figures, Ferrari's and Porsche's off on eBay, did quite well with the sales... if you are not attached, you should check eBay out, easy to sell and make a little extra beer $$. My sales last year gave me a nice down payment on a car for my daughter. Still have a ridiculous amount of Corvettes in bins... will work on selling those off one of these days. All I buy now is the occasional Ranger.

I have just a few now. The 350Z is signed by Mr. Katayama in gold ink. He was the father of the Z car and Nissan President USA. He gave that to me at Nissan HQ in Gardenia, CA at the luncheon when they released the 350Z. I was President of the Las Vegas Z club, Sincity Z. I was close friend to his personal secretary. She asked if I wanted to go to the luncheon for the release, DUH! So my screen name SynfulZ is from Sin city and Z cars.

I used to collect 1/64th NASCAR and Mopar Muscle cars. They covered the wall in the spare bedroom/office. My wife decided to make that room into a craft room and all my collectables went into a couple of totes in the basement where they have been for several years.

I have a 3 year old grandson that spends a fair amount of time at our house. The parents weren't much interested in getting him potty trained and it drove my wife nuts. My wife decided she would work on him by offering a prize everytime he went in the pot. I offered up all my collectables and one of the totes is upstairs as the prize bin. He went from always going in his diaper to no diaper and no accidents at our house in less than a month.

All of my collectables are going from the original packaging to opened and in his toy box. ?

I finally got around to hanging a few of my favorites on my office wall at the house. My Premium Team Transport sets, I think I have 42 of them so far, plus one of the exclusives from Walmart. Then, I have a small Porsche/VW collection on the wall too. I love the Gulf Racing colors and have a tiny collection of cars with their paint scheme on the walls as well.

EDIT: I forgot about my collection of the newest Muscle Machines line. I'm trying to get every one of those! I have all of the 2021 cars and haulers. Still trying to find the 2022 stuff, I think I have 4 cars and no haulers :(

My Rangers are all opened and on a shelf and there aren't that many. Last weekend, I found a cool 49/50 Rat Fink Mercury and bought it. Mostly liked the art on the card :)

I have a ton of mainline Hot Wheels in boxes in the attic ranging from the late 80's to today. I probably need to attempt to sell these things, but no clue what any of it is worth...

Longtime collector here. Recently got into the Ranger diecast by Hotwheels and Matchbox. Will post a group pic eventually.

I had a ton when I was a kid, and they're now in storage somewhere, but this is what I still have on my desk. The Abarth was left behind when I moved into this house, and the moving van has my dad's old company's markings on it; not sure why it was a moving van, since he never worked in that field, but oh well, it is what it is.
