Got the 285/70-17 Goodyear Duratracs put on today.
Here it is sitting on stock suspension (NO level and NO wheel spacers)
Definitely WONT Fit w/o cutting/trimming the Crash bars. I plan to get the Readylift crash bars and have already ordered the 1" level and 1.5" wheel spacers (I want a little poke ?)

LOVE how it's turning out.

Automotive/Motorcycle people are by far the most selfish self-entitled group of enthusiasts on the face of the planet. Brotruckers probably take the cake out of the whole lot if speaking strictly on poke.

Ok, HAM operators probably take the crown overall, but still.

Them and Vietnam vets in regards to restaurant discounts.
Wait, so BroDozers are getting restaurant discounts?

Is it due to sympathy?

What is your problem with Motorcycle Riders and HAM Operators, Jack? Painting with a pretty broad brush aren't you saying they are "the most selfish self-entitled group of enthusiasts on the face of the planet"..... Sheesh

Consider the source Phil. :rolleyes:I'm at a loss for words from ANYONE who has a problem with Vets getting any kind of discounts! As far as I'm concerned they should have a free ride for putting their life on the line for our country! But some don't realize they're free to express their BS because of them.

I think that anyone who has served in the armed forces should get all the perks they can. I really appreciate what those guys went thru during the wars.
Buuuuttt...
No one has fought for OUR country since WW2. Most have fought for other's counties. And what really sucks is that those other countries have no sense of appreciation for them doing it.

It's usually the older ones that really do. Unfortunately they're a shrinking minority.

I never served in Air Force, but if I did and someone said chair force, I'd say yeah, 'chair force.'
and show this chair:

No offense of course, just understand that you're objectively reducing performance, creating additional wear, and ruining other driver's days by pursuing a look. And I'd argue that function is always coolest.
How reducing performance? The risk of flinging rocks is legit, but is also easily solved with mud flaps and/or different flares.

Pushing scrub radius out of spec impairs handling. Adding too much offset (as with zero offset wheels or too much spacer) will make steering vague, and cause the truck to veer sideways when braking. It'll also bring forward maintenance intervals/failure for components like wheel bearings.

But, in adding a taller tire, you do need to space outwards a bit. For a 32-34-inch tire on our trucks (all our powertrains are capable of reliably pushing since there's no gears available yet), you need a +30 offset wheel or one inch spacers.

Stage3 gets it: https://www.stage3motorsports.com/ffa1-10189-2-19-22-ranger-factionfab-10-wheel-spacer-pair.html

As does RTR: https://www.rtrvehicles.com/collect...ucts/ranger-rtr-tech-6?variant=31665721016392

Obviously go ahead and do whatever silly things with your truck that you want. But there needs to be better information out there about how to modify trucks without making them drive like heaps of shit.

Damn dude, I was just asking a question. Chill out. Silly things? Quite the ego.

The original poster was suggesting a 1.5" spacer, which isn't dramatically different than the 1" you are saying is required for a 32-34". I have yet to hear anyone on here mention wheel bearing failures from such a small amount of offset change. I also highly doubt the difference between a 1" spacer and a 1.5" spacer results in trucks that "drive like shit".

Also, Stage3 sells 1.5" spacers on their site as well. Guess they don't get it.
