I always watch movies way after they've been released. lol We just watched a really good movie the other night called The Blind Side. It's about a homeless African American youth (Michael Oher) who was taken in by a very rich couple played by Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw. They helped him get through high school and he got a scholarship and was drafted first round by the Baltimore Ravens back in 2009. It's based on a true story and you don't have to be a football fan to enjoy this one.

"Arguing with you Woodrow makes me thirsty!" - Lonesome Dove
I love Lonesome Dove! A few highlights left out, but for the most part, series followed the book very closely. The book was a bit more graphic, but it showed the character of humanity - the depths of depravity, and the love and kindness of kindred spirits just passing though this world.

Robert Duvall stated that "Gus McCrae was “his favorite part to play.""

We've watched it many many times and could watch it again! When they casted Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones for their respective parts they hit a homerun!
