I got it to haul my 8', 10' and 12' kayaks...

I think I'm going to have to remove it though so I can get a spray in liner installed....
The line-x is pretty sweet I gotta say. They did a great job.

Love the integrated Trax Rail System. Wish that was available when I bought my Roll-N-Lock. Now they do offer a similar set up. I'll have to check and see if it could be retro fitted to my existing M series.

I hate to tell you Dave, but I probably won’t be putting a damper on. I need to be able to loop the cables on the latches for the tailgate to get that angle for hauling whatever random weird crap I need to put in there lol. So I’m sorry, but it looks like I’ve joined the resistance. ??

We help people sell their Rangers in the easiest way possible.
Hello all,

Just thought I’d share part one of my Ranger build.

Got a Line-x spray in done

Installed a Retrax One XR

And cut a 2x8 to fit as a divider, then coated it in rustoleum truck bed coating spray to make it match nicely with the bed. (And also to make sure I don’t use it for something in a pinch lol)

Next will be Yakima bed rack and roof rack. (Once the wallet recovers ?)

Progress!

I’m also working on weather proofing the tailgate using some roofing grade expanding seal tape. Still a work in progress, but it’s less dust/water now at least.
That's been a challenge for me. I bought and installed some TruXseal and it was working OK at first, but now not as much. I think the rubber just gets flattened out over time.

Would be interested in hearing more about this "roofing grade seal tape" you mentioned!

It’s this stuff. I found it at Home Depot. It’s always trying to expand to fill gaps so even when it’s squished, it still slowly wants to return to its max extension. It also feels like and matches the bedliner. I need to see if I can find different sizes though and/or get some more, just haven’t had time yet and probably won’t for a while lol.
