I just picked up a 2019 Ranger Lariat and these foam gaskets near the hood hinge are all tore up. Looking at parts sites I'm not finding them... Anyone know what these are called?

I am sorry but it appears these are only serviced with each cowl side assembly as shown below

$80 each - ouch.

You can likely make replacements from something like plumbing pipe insulating foam.

Thank you Benny for tracking those down! Duke that's a good idea - definitely worth a DIY shot first...

Haaa that’s awesome! My photo was when I was all masked up touring a federal detention facility in deep south Texas. I had to capture the absurdity.

How are they "all torn up?"

Does it look like an animal chewed them? Lots of reports of mice/squirrel damage on our trucks.

Did you inspect for that? Buy an extended warranty?

Not trying to scare you, just a thought.

All great questions - Other than these being torn up there's no other signs of rodents. I had a mouse infestation with a Heritage Edition F150 back in the day... Not fun. The Ranger did come with a 4 month/4,000 mile warranty from the dealer. There's another huge issue I'm dealing with but let's see if the legal team can do anything for me before I dive into that one on an open forum!

Are there any "clips" on the bottom-side?

Do you have a "parts-bag" for the plastic-clips that press each cowl section?

Reason I'm asking, Is I had to have the windshield replaced & both side cowl sections are loose and they won't snap down tight. I keep trying to press down when I have the hood up.

Any suggestions?

Hi,
I do not show any clips on the bottom side, Only these that go through the part itself
