Kittie relaxing after working the weights, small but athletic cat , loves to sprint and leap onto trees and sometimes climbs 30' ~ 40' , also has faced down deer several times, moving closer to drive them away but recently one deer held it's ground and I rescused the kitty as it was about to get stomped on.

We have a twin of your cat , she will not play with our other cats . At least she is very friendly to the wife and me , humans are ok ?
The genetics that are responsible for that tortoise shell coat are also responsible for personality traits common to most torties. Yes, they are not particularly cat friendly, but they are usually "one man women". Once they pick their man, it's a life bond. They become jealous and territorial, and want you to themselves. They also thrive in single cat homes.

This was Autumn, my Alpha cat until her passing in 2020. We were attached at the hip. Since then, Victoria has been vying to be my main girl but she's no alpha. Its a big job and she just doesn't have it.

So I'm down to 5 cats with no alpha. I end up having to take on that job myself.
It's much more harmonious when a cat takes it on....

Here is mine "helping" me work from home during the floods early this year. My wife picked her as a rescue kitten but it was me she attached herself to. Now it's like having a small dog, follows me everywhere, plays run and fetch in the back yard ( when in the mood- she is a cat after all) "helps" with Ranger maintenance, wakes me up in the morning to go to work etc.
