Many years ago my sister was driving from Oregon to Wisconsin somewhere on I-90. She watched a deer run across the highway side she was on, then across the median, then tried to run through the space between a car and the travel trailer it was towing...Glue yourself to someone ass and let them take the insurance claim.
That or slow down and don't speed. Give yourself the extra second to react in deer country.
Do NOT follow someone from a normal distance. Those dense shits might wait for the first car to pass but they won't even look for a second car........
Deer or whistles?Deer are everywhere here. I'll send you some.![]()
YesDeer or whistles?
We'll wait here.I'll go ask the three deer I've hit if they heard my deer whistles!
Eye shine too, definitely! And looking hard for eye-shine.
The TC in NB has some impressive anti-animal fencing put up over the past 20 or so years.

Deer with whistles. Someone should stick deer whistles on a deer and see what happens.Deer or whistles?

If the deer would just obey the sign and cross on the crossing there wouldn't be a problem.Yeah, take down all those deer crossing signs and replace them with car driving signs that face the woods for the deer to see.
There’s a TSB in the event a customer reports multiple Deer Strike incidents ?Removed after 2020 MY.

Of course there is another way... get a deer stamp every year and get all your neighbors to do so.The only thing you can do is reduce the odds of hitting an animal....and that's by slowing down.
