Food for thought when dealing with insurance.....you didn't hit the deer. The deer hit you. Makes a difference to some insurance policies.

nah, you need this light specifically.Make sure you cover your vehicle in plenty of lights. Fog lights, Baja Lights, Rear bed lights, step lights, search lights, and an extra battery.
Wont do much, but you'll be able to see how bad the damage is.
True, the deer's insurance should cover it in that case.Food for thought when dealing with insurance.....you didn't hit the deer. The deer hit you. Makes a difference to some insurance policies.
What about this - Texans seem to favorI used to live in Burnet County, Texas. Aka "white tail deer capitol of the world". Everyone I knew, including me had hit at least 1 deer....most had whistles installed so.....?
Second most useless thing were brushgaurds.

Out here no one tailgates and backroads are typically empty. I have been driving slower though, actually had a youngin run out in front of me just today.Glue yourself to someone ass and let them take the insurance claim.
That or slow down and don't speed. Give yourself the extra second to react in deer country.
Do NOT follow someone from a normal distance. Those dense shits might wait for the first car to pass but they won't even look for a second car........
Not too many in my area. Most are in one park area that is easy to avoid. The places outside of Austin TX I drive in with them.. normally have someone to latch on too (ish). Not on their bumper but not my normal distance either. Just not enough for them to run behind the other car like they seem to love to do...(Austin area deer anyway) I have yet to hit one doing that or slowing down if no one is around.Out here no one tailgates and backroads are typically empty. One thing is the higher the truck is the better off you are. I hit a deer with my old F150. Wasn't lifted but had much bigger tires on and I basically just ran it over with no damage.
