2nd or 3rd gen Raptor vs whats in my sig. From a rolling start at about 15mph. Dead even up to 75mph.

As surprised as I was, the guy in the Raptor was very confused.

Controlled environment. Some feelings were hurt in the making of this post.

Assuming we are talking about the F150 Raptor you need to remember that they are heavier, have bigger tires and a Power to Weight ratio that limits the acceleration

I won't own a F150 Raptor for the same reason I won't own a Dodge Challenger (a car I've always wanted). I don't want to be associated with the behavior of some who drive them.

Yes, I made a made a broad stroke with the brush. It is what it is.

On the trails out here? I'll still take the Ranger.

Definitely not set up for desert running. The Raptor is really designed for that.

Yep Raptor has a couple thousand pound higher weight and all the extra power of the bigger engines they get keeps it quick... On my way home the other day on a highway with red lights a new Audi kept flooring it, so so did I, my Ranger was quicker to 60 a couple times in a row. The Ranger especially a tuned one is actually pretty quick for what it is, so a Raptor keeping up ain't bad honestly.

I'm guessing he started to pull off after 75 or did the run end?

Neither of us were looking to hurt anyone. Was just a short spirited jaunt and parting of ways at the next light.
