Thanks! They're GearAmerica Uber shackles (amazon). They're massive... may even look funny on a mid sized truck. I like them because they have a reverse threaded cap that screws on to the end of the pin. If someone tries to loosen/steal the pin without the key, it should lock the pin in, or at least slow someone down enough to deter them from stealing my eye candy, I mean hard use recovery shackles.

You never know when these will come in handy. There could be a shopping cart stuck in a snowbank this winter that needs to be pulled out. ?

Actually those are really nice and beefy and will come in handy if you ever need them.

So I received two things today, but both by email. I know it is not a mod to the truck, but it still came in SOME sort of mail and it is for (about) my Ranger.

The first one I knew was coming, because I saw it on the tracker yesterday.

About 2 hours later I received this:
