OMG I would either cut the cable connection, or toss some sharp pointed object through the screen! Or perhaps thank them for forcing me to go outside and do something physical.

No cable, all internet TV.

I do tend to find something else to do when she starts watching one.

I watched it... was it intentionally meant to be funny? i would have loved to be at the pitch for that. maybe marijuana shouldn't be legal?

Strange how a 90 minute made for tv movie can be condensed down to 15 minutes and still get every point across ?

My wife watches these "romance" movies on Hallmark and there are like 3 women that are in every movie.

She's one of them.

I'll give you a brief synopsis of Every. Single. Movie.

1. Guy and girl meet under unusual circumstances and immediately hate each other

2. Through amazing coincidences of life, they continuously run into each other and eventually start liking each other, but won't admit it yet because they obviously must hate each other.

3. A different guy or girl enters the picture and is immediately perceived as a love interest for the guy or girl and therefore makes them the forbidden fruit, upping their desirability by a factor of at least 5.

4. Heart breaks as newcomer love interest is obviously hitting it off with guy or girl.

5. Turns out that newcomer love interest is actually brother/sister/aunt/pen pal/adopted child and whole misunderstanding is resolved in 2 minutes as true love blossoms between former bitter enemies. Occasionally insert catching them as they are leaving forever just before boarding a plane or leaving in a car.

6. Credits roll. Preview rolls of "New" movie starring the exact same people in a different location/situation.

7. Rinse and repeat.

Hey, I get to watch this same movie too! =)

Too funny! When my MIL visits the TV is stuck on Hallmark. ? So off to the garage I go. (TV room is on other side of the wall to garage) Then some major repairs, wood working projects or anything that makes a ton of noise or banging starts for the day! That’s when I hear the volume of the TV gets increased. I know I’m a bad SIL ?

OMG Annie watches all the Hallmark soap operas too. I tell her in the first 5 minutes what's going to happen and she yells at me to shut up. lol

Then there's the dumb Christmas in July month long ones. I'll walk into the room and half the time she's crying. I'll laugh my ass off and walk out cracking up.

My wife and I play a game where we guess the plot points and "twists". of course by watch I mean she watches them, I lean against her reading a book, watching the show and watching the kids.

They require so little actual attention I can do three things at once while "watching" them

It was. It was part of a funny, tongue in cheek marketing campaign meant to appeal to a younger audience.

As a company, they have a good sense of humour. Check this out.

I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS:
Will she be a battered woman?
Is the Colonel a thigh or a breast man?
How Fowl will this be?
Should I put it on my bucket list?

entire world: lifetime films can't possibly get any dumber lifetime: hold my kfc bucket

Things I thought I'd never do:
- Stay at home for a full year
- Buy boxed wine
- Wear the same clothes for a week
- Watch a Lifetime movie featuring Colonel Sanders
