I've been working on this for going into its third year.

Thanks to @Msfitoy the proverbial icing on the cake regarding my proof of concept is one step closer.

@Glocker guns are so passee, building PoV technicals is the new hotness ok I am exaggerating, but it sounds cool right?

Glad they've arrived safely...you have several options... ?

1-prep these prints for painting
2-use the STL file for aluminum CNC
3-use a print to make silicone mold for casting resin
4-use a print to make hard mold for casting metal

I actually like the printed material just fine. Either this evening or tomorrow I'll start prepping them and their counter-parts for install and paint.

My new GA prestige license plate should be here any day now to round it out.

I wish our state offered better options for vanity plates.

I need to check the legality of changing the color, to like a black background with say, white alphanumerics.

The usual argument is the state owns the plate, but in the case of vanity plates, I own it after purchase as it cannot be re-issued. To back this statement up, the DMV told me once my new vanity plate arrives I am free to keep the old one (wanted it for my garage art!)

All of the OCGA referencing plates are ambiguous or at best, the verbiage seems to target those that would hinder or attempt to conceal the legibility of the plate, or put a non-approved cover over them.

Ahhh...the dredded plate holder...I've gotten in so much trouble with you guys lol...this is what I use now...silicone edge wrap...clean and legal...

Got the Supercab AVS window deflectors direct from AVS. These are the "originals" and not the low profile (I'm not that cool). But I want to be cool, so I went with the larger ones in the hopes it makes a noticeable difference. Plus I hope this lets me lower the windows an inch and not have any stoopid oak tree sap get inside. I have no idea if it's really sap, but both cars get tiny little bumps that you can feel after even just an hour under the tree. They wash off the outside but they do make little spots on plastic (like my unpainted door handles - those come off but only with the pressure washer up close - 40 degree nozzle).

Made in the US too! =)

YES! I got the same ones - white for my wife's car and black for my Ranger, they seem to work nice and gives it a finished look for the rear plate. I also use stainless steel tamper-resistant Torx screws.
