DonB.....where in Delaware as your location says....had a home there already back in 2011 and will be retiring there in the next few years in the Lewes area if my wife ever retires.....

Excellent Don.....I had a house in Bridgeville over off route 13 in Sussex county for 5 years from 2010 to 2015. Sold it when I retired because I did not want to live on that side of the county in retirement. In Lewes often with friends and relatives down there. The pandemic really screwed up our plans and now its so expensive we will be looking slightly outside of Lewes if we can't find anything there when my wife retires and hopefully soon. Thanks

I ordered a supercab on April 30...2021. I got a VIN months later but eventually that model year expired and it got rolled over into 2022 with a new VIN. After more months of inaction and several calls to the dealer, he said that after conferring with the plant, I would have much better luck if I removed some of my ordered items, such as the tonneau cover, and the spray in bed liner...and the back seats! What could I do? Of course I capitulated.

Their order status website currently shows an order date of 10/29/2021 (actually that's the rollover date, not the original order date) and that it's 'In Production' since 4/28/2022.

Ford customer service tells me it's built (maybe, mostly, probably), but it's on 'Delay - Plant Hold', which apparently means any number of things, effectively eliminating knowing anything specific. The second most recent delivery date was June 19 to 24, but that got pushed out to July 21 to 27. I asked my dealer how confident he was of that estimate. He was halfway.

I surely hope I'm one of the 499. In (now foolish) anticipation, I bought about $1,000 in accessories.

The wife's folks are over in ocean view. We moved up here from Texas about 3 years ago with the understanding that the only way I was moving to Delaware was we had to buy a large tract of property in the woods to where I can never see any of my neighbors. It worked.

Thanks DonB and great video. Would never know that is Delaware. Have been in Ocean View before by Bethany and its a great area. My wife would be freaked out living that close to the water. She has to be at least 10 or more miles inland from the Ocean for her piece of mind. Flooding, Hurricanes and all those fun things are on her fear radar....lol. Hopefully we will find a place that is close enough to the water.

Like I explained to AzScorpion that I would be in Az right now if it was not for my wife. She has problems with that beautiful dry heat...?. I love the southwest on the other hand and need to visit since its been many years.

The in-laws have lived on the very edge of Indian River Bay for over 40 years and never had a single flooding problem I mean they're literally right next to the water

Trust me I understand and know that. I have been on the Fema flood map site to look at areas in and around Lewes near Rehoboth bay that connects to the Broadkill river. Their flood zone ratings have all been the same as where I am in Sussex NJ and my home is 800ft above sea level in Northwest NJ. People have all different fears and would always be difficult to change those fears.
