The thing to watch is after after the $5 a month thing ends, I think mind was for 12 months, they charge you the full price for the following year. I think the regular price is around $180. I have everything for $13 a month. When I had the $5 package I didn't have a few channels I like like NFL an a few right wing talk channels. I don't know if online streaming and the app is included in the $5 deal either. I don't have the sirius module for the Sony in my Harley so I have to blue tooth the app on the phone to it. I listen to sports talk during the day on the computer a lot too.

Did you give FordPass a valid email address? I believe that's what they use to connect with you. Even though they haven't turned mine off after 13 months, I still get an email about once a month asking if I want to sign up for ~5/mo plan for a year.

I just got my Ranger Friday.
The dealership activated it for the 3 months free trial but do I need to also create an account online now if I decide to play the $5-6 subscription game with them in 3 months or will they be sending me something in the mail?
Still not sure it's worth it since I have unlimited data on my phone and can stream the free Prime Music or use my USB drive

Figured out the account setup that came with the Ranger.
Now I'll have to debate is it worth keeping or trying to get the $6 plan

I've had it for years. I, also, have the app on my desktop and my TV. It was a godsend when I was still working and didn't have to search for local channels. :sunglasses:

Used Sirius on and off in the US. I don't have that here so instead I use Tidal and my downloaded music on my phone. Hook it to the sync and works great with on screen album art and you can select your music.

xm is nice but its not really worth the price they want. half the stations are junk or off the air. it should be five a month for everyone standard price. no fees.
Yeah I have unlimited data on my phone. So I can stream. mostly use Amazon free streaming and iHeart free. I asked my brother did he keep it after he got his Escape last year and said XM offered him something like $6 plan that' about all it should cost. Said his wife likes listening to oldies and gospel.
Also with a usb drive you can load up audiobooks for a long drive...
Guess I could always make sure I get my $ worth using it at the gym and at work

Well Sirius sent me an email to add 3 more months for $2 processing fee plus tax and then $22.99 unless I cancel...
I may do that, that'll at least extend me out till Dec giving me a chance to see how the NFL and SEC stations are during football season.
Then cancel unless they give me the $5/6 offer or I just may hold off on the $2 and see if they just go ahead and offer me the $5/6 offer when the 3 month trial is about up

Be careful once you give your info including CC they are banking on you will forget. And they will make you jump through hoops to cancel

I put reminders on my phone calendar for things I pay but heard they try hard to get you to renew. I noticed a cancel button on my account

That'll take you to a chat option. One way or another, you have to communicate with a person, or a "person" and jump through their hoops.

I work
Had it for free for about 3 months … now when I call to see any deals or anything I can get free (lol) I get someone who barely speaks English and doesn’t barely
Know what to offer and on hold for what feels like forever.

Anyone have a code or an idea or enjoy it ? I do like it .. but need someone to understand me when I speak letters for the radio ESN ???
I had SiriusXM for years. I have the All Access/PLatinum package.
Every year just before it automatically renews, I call and tell them I want the deal I have or cancel my account. They transfer me to someone else (who speaks English) who authorizes my deal. I get the All Access/Platinum for $115 a year. I stream it in my office all day, in my Ranger and at home and in the shower. To be honest, if they charged my anymore, I would cancel it. It's convenient, but for commercial free music, they hype their channels, shows and talk too much.

I used to love Sirius back in the day, but once I got a smart phone, I streamed music.

I still like it in rental cars when I travel and don't want to figure out phone connectivity.

But right now I do the free Pandora... Listen to an ad and get premi features for most of my commute.
