I decided to not even try with my xplan pricing from the get go. My dealer was giving me the sticker price do to a custom order and their margin is so narrow on new vehicles anyways, I wanted him to be able to make a little. He later told me they haven't been doing xplan pricing anyways due to having such little stock. I can't blame them. It is a smaller family owned dealership with amazing service. Makes up for a lot.

I did 500 over invoice with my store simply for that reason. The markup is literally nonexistent

Dealer said they were fine with x-plan on factory orders, so I did. He was excited to place the order to be honest and didn't seem to mind since A) he didn't have anything on the lot, B) I think I was the only customer to stop in that day, C) it took him about ten minutes to type-in my order (I knew exactly what I wanted). I didn't go with the X-plan as much for the discount as I used it to avoid haggling - I hate being treated like an idiot. I'd happily pay MSRP.

Nothing wrong with using it. Glad there are some out there still honoring it. Ford told me after dec. This year they are no longer honoring the xplan for shareholders.

My dealer texted me today about a Lariat he has on the lot that's nothing like my order and is $20k more - it's discouraging to say the least. Also, based on scheduling info, XLs aren't getting scheduled in June. So yeah, I'm looking at a 2023 right? And.... I'm not getting X-plan pricing (as a stockholder) after Dec 31, 2022 - so I'll have to renegotiate my cost.

I need a hug.

That does seem pretty outrageous. My dealer has a loaded f150 tremor for 20 more than my ranger. I don't see more than 3-5 over sticker for stock vehicle.

I'm not angry to be honest. All of this is out of my control, so I'll just keep waiting and see what happens. I was just a bummer of a day and my fiancé is very tired of hearing about my Ranger order and I knew I could come here and whine like a puppy. Thank you

My dealer gave me $1200.00 off the Lariat without asking. They have some F150s now showing 3k off. No addons unless you want them. Other dealers in the area want 1k to 5k market adjustments. That's why I keep going back to mine.

Hang tight. If we are in the least bit lucky they'll assign our trucks as 2023's and we will receive an amazing discount. Otherwise bend over and the doctor wants to check your butthole

My in production date was 6 June, now it’s 20 June. Should I expect it to keep going back?

15 weeks and counting and no word from Ford or the dealer. Hopefully I get scheduled for August production, since I'm waiting on an XLT, 301a, FX4.
If not scheduled for August, I'm guessing I'm getting rolled into the 2023 line. If so, I hope there are some incentives to ease the pain of the wait. ?

I sat down after dinner tonight and the price is right at night was on and I'll be dammed if they didn't give away a 2022 velocity blue XLT Ranger !! What those that have been waiting and their giving them away on the price is right now !!!!!!!???

Feel ya. And if that’s actually true, that makes very little sense to me. If you are producing 302A vehicles, why not finish the ones you have orders for first? Of course I’m sure they are looking at huge markups with 302a pks, so I just answered my own question

Dealership just called and said it came in last night.
They're going to do the PDI and everything today and call me back to let me know how it goes and I could come in this evening and pick it up.
Told him let me come in tomorrow morning to do a test drive.
One more day guys....?
