Mecum Auction 2022

Here’s some pictures from this year’s Mecum Action. I get sponsor passes from Gold Eagle the makers of 303 products. This year they surprised me with a behind the scenes private tour . We got to go up to the podium where the auctioneer is and then behind the back where the live tv gets mixed and monitored. Of course I couldn't leave empty handed and grabbed a few more bottles of Graphene Detailer, tire dressing applicators, gun clp and some new towels made for window cleaning which are supposed to leave them streak free.

The paint job on this truck was really sweet. It looks black from a distance but check out the color as you get closer and the angle changes..

There were a lot of new Broncos there and this nice '73 Bronco.

This one went for $77,500.

A nice '06 Jeep Wrangler with only 12,000 miles.

I wish I did too Bob, way to rich for my blood! I'll post some pictures soon of the 1970 Plymouth Superbird that sold for $160K.

lol Thanks Mark! I get as many free passes as I need for the whole 4 day event. We have so much that goes on in the area between Barrett Jackson, Mecum, PGA Tour, NHRA, Nascar and Baseball spring training it almost makes up for our brutal summers here. ? They're trying to add days to it for next year because every year they have more cars than days available.

It looks like you really enjoyed the day - so much history and all in showroom condition. Those Raptors out front were pretty awesome and I have to admit, those TRXs look good too.

I watched the NASCAR race from PIR this past weekend - it made me homesick for the days of mountain biking up behind the racetrack in the Estrella Mountain Park. ?

I couldn’t help but notice the gas struts on the hood of that ‘73 Bronco. ?

It sure brings back a lot of memories Duke! They have so many different vehicles there and it's nice to see the changes over the years from no technology to what we have today. Check out the full EV Hummer below. This is massive but really pretty sweet as they had a video going showing all the features.
