Retired, work is a four letter word.
My advise is if you have served in the Military, please ring USAA and get a quote.
I have had USAA for 40 years, love the awesome service, lower rates, and the yearly profit sharing credit. I insure everything with them. When my inlaws were burned out in the camp fire the adjuster was there the next day check in hand, they paid up to 2 years rent, moving expenses, $10K up front on day 1 to cover immediate loss items, arranged red cross help, government help,(FEMA) and temporary housing, although they stayed with us for the 1st few weeks. Best service I have ever seen from an insurance company, and no hassles at all. If you qualify get them.

$1400 for 6 months in Detroit area here for me with Progressive. Myself and the wife for 4 cars. The Ranger and her Civic have full coverage, the other 2 comprehensive only as they're project cars. No change from the last renewal.

I'm not sure Californians can handle Northern Idaho. First week I was there and coming back from the Ace in town was a guy on a BMX bike with an AR15 on his back. Pretty sure the U-Haul would make a u-turn right there and then.

Sights like this might also give them pause.

Sounds like just the right place for me to move to. NV is turning into CA 2.0 little by little

I have Grange through a independent agency. Price has been stable for the 10 years or so I've been with them. I had a lady turn right in front of me and an animal ran out in front of me. No rate increase. I've had bad experiences where it seems like companies give you low rates to get you to join then every 6 months the slowly raise it up.

Insurance companies are paying out the @$$ for rentals while cars are in for repair. Parts delays have people in rentals for weeks longer than before. My neighbor slide off the road on black ice (his story) an the steering rack was damaged an it's been 2 months trying to find the right replacement. Luckily his dad has a truck he can use because he ran out of rental days on the claim.

Sorry We're Full.jpg
I wish we could say that here haha

We’re full too! Try Texas!
100% haha, Man, I miss what "traffic" used to be like when I first moved here 4yrs ago. I was told "Welcome to Freedom, dont screw it up" at two different gun shops when I first came here lol.

See, I figured everyone's was going up with mine. Something else is causing it here. Probably the backroads with cliffs on both sides. Lot of serious accidents there.
maybe the armed goats... I have state farm and last 2 years it's gone down

I have two vehicles both under full coverage with highest coverage amounts available, high mileage commute penalty, and $250 deductible. I pay Country $650 every 6 months.

USAA is great on the cars , but now the house coverage is going crazy , but homeowners insurance is ber zerk with all companies .
That's because of property values skyrocketing. I get more ticked about the overinflated property taxes thanks to money-grubbing tax assessors!

I had USAA for 25 years, but two years ago I had a rate increase (never had an accident, tickets, etc.)
I was told it was because I had two windshield crack repairs.
They tell you they waive the deductible, but don't tell you that asking to get your windshield crack repaired is the same as filing an accident claim. So to them I had filed two accident claims the last two years ( even though they were crack repairs).

I switched to Motion Auto, out of Saratoga Springs, Utah. Much lower rates than USAA was charging me ($880 a year for the Ranger in AZ) and when you call you talk to a real live American (like USAA).

Believe it or not in Massachusetts the state with the worst drivers in the nation my Ranger fully insured with Travelers is about $860 a year. That’s with a $500 deductible too. They gave me a credit last year because of covid of $80.

I feel like it is, but we all do it sometimes. Ok to break thoughts up.
It's my norm as I can't hold a coherent thought for a full paragraph.

Much easier to start fresh and rehash what I said 2 paragraphs (or sentences) earlier

Squirrel!!

Oh yeah, PSA, if you move from a place that sucks to a place that's still nice, don't vote like the place that sucked or guess what will happen. See Denver. Actually seeing here in GA now.

I really like the QuickTrip caramel macchiato when the machine is working. I think they use the same repair company that fixes the McDonald's ice cream machine.
