Wow talk about getting ripped off...so if inflation and gas prices aren't bad enough...you pay more to get less? Let's see...

  1. no rear folding headrest
  2. no glove box damper
  3. no PRNDS light
  4. no console cubby
  5. no hood damper
Did I miss anything?
My '21 was built late last year. It does not have:

Fold down rear headrests
PRNDS light
Damper on glovebox
Console cubby

It does have hood struts though, LOL!

Now we shouldn't be so negative because for 2022 Ford added an optional color-keyed keypad entry! That's huge! Plus the XLT 302A has heated mirrors! (Although don't get too excited about those mirrors because to get them they took away the power folding.)

So let's stay positive who knows the 2023 may have a tailgate damper or the tailgate itself might be missing. Who knows?

Here's the 2023 Ranger with what they plan to leave off....
They're hoping you won't notice...

You joke, but back in the early 90's you had to pay extra for bumpers, tailgates, and spare tire mounts on some 1/2 ton trucks... Seeing a row of them on the lots that looked like this was common, Even for trucks not destined to have custom work beds.

Man...this product delete is worthy of it's own thread...amazing how the bean counters have nickle and dimed...I wonder how much was saved while thinking no one would notice?
That's the problem...300 separate threads...there should be one...get on it MOD...lol

Guess the CEO and the rest of the suits want more yachts in the dock yard.

might not make a difference in 1 house

but multiply that $0.10 savings by 100000 unites per month and you can see the cost savings in the big picture.
Allows them to dole out bigger bonus' to the executives for not meeting any projected targets
This stuff makes me irrationally angry. I want everyone to order all the missing parts on their Rangers from Ford, then do a chargeback for everything on the credit card all at the same time.

So my 2019 is a lease and my plan is to buy it and sell it if it all works out when I get my 2022. If not I'll be turning it in anyhow. Looks like I better keep the console cubby, and owners manual pouch out of it. Anything else I can keep that no one will really notice? Hmm...

If your rear headrest fold down (and it's the same interior) I would find a way to swap them out. I love this feature as it gives you a better view through the back window when they're folded.

That would be a good idea, but my 2019 is an XLT with a medium stone interior and my 2022 is a Tremor with black vinyl so that would not work. Well it would, but look goofy as hell.

Also the left 12V outlet on the main console is removed
Next thing you know, the rear left wheel will be missing on delivery :p
Add that to the new thread listing deleted items...I think they've been giving away too much air on delivery...in the future, they will come flat...

Glad I have the 12V outlet where it is and in my 2021.... my little handheld vacuum plugs into it, so I do use it fairly often.
