What did you do to your Ranger today?

Today , for my Ranger ,I bitched in great detail about the Auto Start Stop and how much it doesn't belong on ANY truck , then I found out i can t even check the tranny fluid unless I lay on the ground ? Wtf ? ... All this is on me , buyer beware , ... It looks good I guess... It will get no name , no love and no extended warranty ... It will be driven VERY hard in sport mode only and gone before warranty expires... A love hate relationship for sure ... Just like my wife , what's her name... oh , I did put those ranger letters on the tailgate but I had order them before I realized I hate it... Maybe I rip them back off painfully...

Nope , don't care about the fluid level... Fords problem ... If I don't get I kicked , maybe ill report back on how much abuse a Ranger can take before warranty expires...

Sorry you dislike your truck so bad for the one most easily remedied annoyance. Your other complaint is one that seems to be an issue with a small but very vocal group, that is obsessed with the old school need to change transmission fluid at some arbitrary frequency. Many of thr same that hate the 10 speed for the way it shifts.

My suggestion is, trade it in quick, while you can get a good price for it
It can than find a good home that will love and take care of it. Get something else you think will be better. Then find some other annoying thing that bugs you, so you will have something to complain about.

Anyone here use this? I assume it's accurate and can use the same tube to fill?? Yes...I'm one of the old school guys here and would prefer this method vs. the new way.
And...I would take my dampener funds and put it towards this first

Its funny that you say there is no need to check it unless old school , then , on this very forum , threads about underfilled trannys from factory.... Again this all on me , buyer beware , but I never in a million years thought to ask if this truck will stay running or does it have a dipstick ? If all new trucks are without dipsticks and engines that stay on , ill just go back in years till they do... But till then , this truck gona have a hard life...

I guess it will be somewhat fun, till something breaks anyway.... And 8 mpg gona suck. ..or whatever it gets at full throttle in sport mode.... And the tickets... DAMN IT !.... gona get pricey ... aint about the money , its about nerfing an otherwise good truck... Damn , mine does look good in that pic , rims be sweet, and the black ... Most vehicles today have the auto stop start in them and there's always an easy way around it which you seem to not want to do.

When you make any purchase whether it a truck, house or anything you should always due your due diligence. You didn't and now you hate the truck?

I hate me and the truck ! I already said it was on me ... My last truck was a 2011... Never even herd of auto stop till now , never herd of no dipstick till now , im old and I guess my truck should be to... The whole point is i shouldnt HAVE to tell my truck to not shut off at lights , nor should I have work around it, I also shouldn't have to wonder if tranny is low to the point im willing to lay on the ground to check it ... If thats old school , then so be it... So , Nobody tricked me into this truck , Not Fords fault , my fault ... One mans "minor annoyance" is another mans dealbreaker...
