I figured we could start a Q and A on all car audio topics. I know there are several people on here with Car Audio expertise. I myself spent 10 years installing/fabricating and have my experiences to share. I consider myself a small time guy in the industry but built competition cars and a CES car.
Is the center counsel speaker on top of the dash a plug and pray, I meant plug and play if I buy one from Ford?
I have a XLT with none B&O.

not 100% sure on this but i took the dash bin pin out and dug all around doing wiring for other things and i didnt find any wires in that area on mine, an xlt sport. I would bet its got a spot for it on the b@o harness and may come with the center speaker.

Curious if there really are any drop in speakers that would truly be an upgrade.
Are the factory speakers 2 ohm?Which would make the best replacements also a 2 ohm speaker.
Im not an expert on that since i cut my doors to fit 8 inch mids. Others on here have done it if you search around.

Also try www.crutchfield.com its a great source.

Fwiw, resetting the memory of the power window switch is covered in the owner's manual. Page 84 in my 2020 manual. I had the same problem when doing my audio equipment upgrades.

I saw that an it sparked my interest since I have a supercab an there's no room for a sub. I assume you're using an amp to take advantage of the bigger speakers?

They are 4 ohm. I used JL audio components upfront and three way in back door. Amplifier is Hifonics. Sub is being built now.

Yes I have a 4x65w amp. Its true mid-bass speakers though so you'll get the more tight from rock but low stuff that takes far excursion of speaker like rap you wont get. Its even possible the stock would give you a feeling of more low bass from my memory. Getting any small box that fits behind the seat would be a better route for more bass.

Y’all can try this Rockford Fosgate PS3-1 x 12. It fits if you cut some of the carpet on back wall near the factory subwoofer location if you have b & o. I didn’t so it’s just carpet and insulation. This sub is awesome. Sounds better and is $200 cheaper than the shallow JL audio sub that’ll fit. It’s wired down to one ohm so be careful what amp u choose. https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item-43403-Rockford-Fosgate-Punch-P3S-1X12.html

I built two custom boxes for behind the seats in my super cab. Put the amp in the under seat storage. Used 2 Tang Band W6's.
