I have a 2021 Ford Ranger XL, crew cab, 4x4, STX and had the ready lift 3" SST lift done which includes a 1" block for the rear for leveling. However there seems to be a factory defect that I was not informed of that cause the passenger side rear to be much higher and standing behind the truck the lean is more than noticeable. There is already a factory spacer on the drivers side rear and now the 1" block on top of that. However even with just the 1" block installed on the passenger side rear it is 3/4" higher. Taking out the blocks on both rear sides and leaving the factory spacer makes the passenger side rear lower than the drivers rear and even taking the factory spacer would make the rear lower than the 3" lift done to the front. So thats not an option when the rear needs to be slightly higher than the front even with a level in my opinion.
Is there anything out there to fix this uneven issue? It seems to be a known problem and it is hard for me to believe that there is not a fix for it by now. Maybe taking out the 1" block on the drivers rear and replacing with a 1.5" block would bring the drivers rear kind of close to the passenger side rear? Im pretty sure there is not a 1/2 inch block out there to replace the 1" block for the passenger side rear? Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

chances are the lean was present prior to lift as it was on mine as well. i'm here for answers too lol just know you're not alone.

seems to be a prevalent and well known issue at this point. curious to see if anyone has input as well.

Yeah I was told after the fact that Ford has known about this for some time and the factory plate Ford put in on the rear left was not enough. But ready lift also knew of this issue and did not disclose it which really aggravates me. I dont understand why a 1.5" block cant be created and installed on the left rear in place of the 1". There has got to be someone out there that has addressed and fixed this issue. Im going to get in touch with NissTech and see if they have any ideas. Ill let you know what I find out.

So after more research and speaking with NissTec. Joe with Nisstec is extremely knowledgeable and helpful btw. On my ranger I had the 3" SST lift and level from ReadyLift SKU: 69-2930 . We are going to first try to take out the factory plate on the left rear(Fords shit excuse for a fix) and leave in the 1" block. Also take out the 1" block on the right this should level the rear out. I wil keep you updated on how it goes after i get it done.

I also found the leaf spring plate that Ford is using as a fix and ordered 2 from the memphis, TN plant. your local ford dealer can order them if you think you will need them. I am only ordering them because im afraid our first option might lower it too much and I actually want my rear to be slightly higher than the front, maybe 1/2" higher in the rear. I think the first option will level the whole truck out. that might be ok for everyone else though. so if I need I will put a plate on the right rear, maybe 2 if necessary.

***the factory leaf spring plate "fix" is part#: KB3Z5798A $68.00 a piece

Final option which is also the best if you ask me but might cost a bit. NissTec will create a 2" block for that left rear so the only thing on that left will be a 2" block. leaving 1" block on right and you can still use the plate on either side if needed. I just need the exact measurements of the 1" blocks and that factory plate for the fabricator....so if anyone has those measurements and pictures that will help a lot. it will be a while before i go to my mechanic while waiting on parts and can get the measurements.

**also was informed a class action law suit should be brought against ford for this defect. it is costing people extra money and could be a safety issue. i will start a new thread to see if there is any interest in this.

curious if you noticed the truck not sitting level before the lift / spacers etc?
i havent noticed my truck leaning, it seems fairly square. i wonder if it was only certain trucks that have the issue. maybe a date or vin number range exists for the issue that could help track down a solution .

just from my experience on here, all 2019+ rangers have some type of lean toward the drivers side (passenger higher than driver) its just comes down to a few factors:

1- has the owner actually looked?
2- do they care?
3- how bad is it?

it annoys the crap out of me on my truck however every single one of my friends doesn't notice it. just haven't heard of anyone getting anywhere other than ford saying its "within spec," which is the runaround they gave me. There was a thread on here somewhere that a member went to a dealer and measured all rangers on the lot and they were all leaning from 1/4"-3/4" toward the driver side.

It's definitely excessive but not unheard of- my buddy's 17' taco has a lean too. Not super relevant, i know, but just an example from within our segment.

After i did my front suspension and coils i took it to and offroad shop for an alignment and the front coils needed a little tweaking which took my lean from 3/4" to about 1/2". Doesn't help OP who went with spacers. Their best guess was the leafs in the back have an issue. next alignment i'm gonna have them yank em off and measure them to ensure they're within spec.
