Nope, no markup. He wouldn't even try that with us because he knows my wife and I would walk out. I was just telling him about some of the ridiculous markups I've been seeing on Mustangs and Broncos.

Part shortages naturally make me question if they didn't include struts because of cost savings or because they didn't have them (or needed to prioritize what cars get them.)

I'm guessing any OEM spec replacement will work? Anyone got a part number?

We've always gone through the dealership. I spec out exactly what we want with the online builder, print it out, and take it my guy. That way I know I'm getting EXACTLY what I want. Just be sure to order it 4-6 months before you actually want/need it!

Yeah he can't show us pics because he has been quietly doing mods and is waiting for just the right time. So for now it's Peek-a -boo I am hiding here in the garage.

Yeah... I caught that too. Guess 22's don't get hood struts. At least the mounts are there to add them later. If it gets the truck here earlier, I guess I'm ok with it but that is annoying.

Anyone buying 21-22 MY vehicles used in the future are going to have some serious headaches figuring out which features their car may or may not have!

My Shelby GT350 came with a hood prop rod. I just bought an aftermarket one. I'm sure you can get one just like the tailgate.
