Just ordered my 2022 Lariat Tremor

No, it's not your first rodeo, but I don't think you'll have to wait nearly as long with this order. I'm kind of glad on not going for that part of the ride this time and found one on the lot at MSRP that is almost exactly what I wanted. And what I didn't want was just 4x4. But it appears to be a nice to have, and I can just add an FX4 transfer case control knob and get to use Terrain Management with mine too, and without the extra weight of the FX4 skid plates and such.

Also, I didn't see the electronic brake controller on your order, guess that is due to it being a dealer accessory and you have a separate order for that with the dealer so it is there when the truck arrives.

It might end up being longer

So true. No trucking to the port, and shipping across the ocean only to sit in customs and the Mod Center for god knows how long. And I actually know people at Michigan Assembly Plant that can keep an eye on things. Here's a blast from the past; My RS being unloaded onto US soil for the first time. Good times...

I'm surprised they let you use plan pricing on a Tremor, though maybe it's different having A plan. I've got X through my employer and the dealer I'm working with isn't doing X on "specialty" trim orders. No markups on anything at all though.

Tremor is not considered "specialty." I couldn't get 'A' plan on my Focus RS and have family who couldn't get it on their F-150 Raptor or Mustang GT350. The F-150 Lightning has 'A' plan pricing available, but not 'X' plan. There's no General Rule about these things.

Ah ok. Maybe my sales person was wrong, or they just define Tremors as "specialty" internally. In any case I wasn't ordering one and was unaffected.

I think because the Focus RS, Raptor and GT350 are under the Ford Performance branding they are considered specialty and excluded from some pricing options for that reason.

Just took delivery of my pre ordered STX 4x4. It is so sweet. Ordered in September and got it last week. No mark up. Had 8 mile son it when I drove it off the lot. LOL.

While I still wait, my dealer got this 22 XLT Tremor delivered. I was happy to take it for a test drive. I have driven a lot of Superduty Tremors whose suspension is stiffer than a teenage boy at cheerleading camp. I'm very happy with the ride quality of the Ranger Tremor. 1FTER4FHXNLD07441;

Holy cow since LAST AUGUST?!? Man I don't know how you've kept it together this long. Must be because of super low volumes on Lariat SCabs. That's nuts.
