It takes one to know one!Hey, who you call old and dried out? ?
Did you keep the 1" spacers?![]()
Today was new tire day. It's hard to tell in the photos, but I jumped from 265/70r17 to 255/80r17. Gained 3/4'' ground clearance with a true 33'' tire. They have great traction, as my first experience was driving in the snow.
How much does that help with driving in the snow? Thinking about doing the same.I added four 70 pnd bags of sand to my bed.
I did. Im Going to get better pictures today. I was trying to get some good ones yesterday, went out, pulled out my camera and realized I forgot a danged memory card. This was my “took by phone because I’m real annoyed” picture. ? I’m headed out to rigs and coffee shortly, I’ll get a few then.Did you keep the 1" spacers?
Shots from the front so I can see how things line up with spacer?
Makes a big difference from stops and turning. How much does that help with driving in the snow? Thinking about doing the same.

I run the same size on factory Magnetics and have been considering kicking them out a bit. Also, did the spacers put you into the crashbars?
Just to clarify, factory crashbars?![]()
I have no rubbing, though I haven't been flexed out yet. I am installing a new bumper in the coming weeks, so... That should resolve that, if there is.
