The only issue I have had with the SCT canned tunes are the throttle response is to abrupt. They are certainly fun but such a sensitive throttle for a daily driver is not my cup of tea.
Yea for sure. The latest 93 performance and daily tunes came in and I loaded up the performance tune. I kept burning out at every light and every time I entered a street I'd get sideways with the tires spinning even after I straightened out. I had a cop get behind me twice and I calmed down. When I see traffic on the highway I'll just drive off onto an empty service road going over any obstacles along the way, sometimes without slowing down. Well I did it while it was raining and the moment my tires hit the pavement of the service road in drive mode my truck got sideways and I had to give it some more gas to get it straight. I loaded the daily tune and it is so much an easier on take off. The performance tune is like always balls to the wall but the daily tune is like a tame lion, nice and easy but when you get up on her she roars. Well with the 4 pot more like she farts haha

Usually, learned real quick that it saves my ass in the rain.
Coming from non-TC RWD vehicles most of my life before this I do feel less in control in snow and rain with TC on. When you learn that the back end is going to break loose you can plan for it. Now I just feel bogged down rather than a little wheel spin. Do you turn off advanced track too?

When I turn of TV I hold it down to turn of adv trac too yes. But when it's raining I keep on the electronics. I drove today in the snow with the locker on too.

I keep it on in wet/slick weather too unless I need wheelspin to get moving. I'm just too used to the feature now. I like to practice my drifting skills but not in a surprise on a busy road.

Wish I had those options of terrain management.

I haven't turned on the terrain management (yet). I just shut off the regular traction control if it's nice out (when I think to do it) an turn the advance control off when I want to play with the performance tune.

I've resisted turning TM on because there isn't a TM off mode that I've seen. when you turn on 4wd get a TM mode automatic.
