Dealer in Orange County … or San Diego Area???

Good evening … Or morning everyone lol.

Out of curiosity I have some maintenance scheduled coming up and would like to find a reputable dealer to take care of my baby.

Anyone have a place or guy in the service department they like or feel does a decent job? It’s under warranty, and is just basic fluids, tires rotate and oil .. but need to find a good place to take her for each and every visit. I’m willing to go anywhere in San Diego or even Orange County.

Any help would be appreciated ?

Be aware they all have a 3-4 hour wait even with an appointment . Been there done that…

Never had a problem with Kearny Mesa Ford. I've had several Fords serviced there without issue and even bought my Ranger there. Also, right next door to San Diego famous Lolita's mexican restaurant

I can't tell you who is good but I can say I'd avoid Theodore Robbins. Terrible experience there on my girlfriend's previous car. Would not go back.

Brighton Ford in Brighton Co has always treated me well.

Might be a bit of drive.

I will look into them. Haven’t heard of them.

Feel the same about KG lol

I think KG is pretty hit or miss. My girlfriend bought her 2021 Explorer ST from KG and has had a great experience thus far for sales and service. A coworker went there for a Bronco and had had a bad one.

It may just be a Saturday thing but definitely ask the wait times when making an appointment..

My one service experience did not go well. 24 hours to diagnose a broken glove box light? And three weeks for the part?
But here's the kicker... Dealer wants $100 to fix the light on a 21 Ranger. What? 500 miles on the odo and it's not covered? Gets worse. I complain to the boss and he looks at me like I'm insane! "Why did you pay us? That's too much. Now I can't do anything!"
I paid because I wanted my car back.
Now, this owner has promised to refund the $ I paid. If that's true, why didn't he refund when I was there? Well see what happens but please, be careful. This whole situation was tremendously stupid and has reinforced my concerns of quick profit dealers and the way they represent the Ford brand.

AutoNation Ford Tustin is pretty solid with an appointment and not far from the San Clemente area. My go-to is Fritt's Ford in Riverside but that is a bit of a haul from SD/OC.
