Correct...I have an APG MidRunner kit on the truck which includes a pair of King 2.5 Extended Travel Coilovers with Remote reservoirs and Compression Adjusters at all four corners.

Your rotors look normal. Every vehicle that I maintained in 40+ years of work, looked like this. Not a problem, just looks bad.

Kidding aside, when my cars sit for more than a week, the rotors are covered with rust...that the nature of iron brakes...

Metal + Heating / Cooling + water = Rust .

I have a PNW Mustang from 1970 and rust is what it is all about!

Your rotors look normal. Every vehicle that I maintained in 40+ years of work, looked like this. Not a problem, just looks bad.

I had this problem of the the rotor face and the aluminum rim corrosion on my Sport Trac. Every time I went to remove the shell had to use a rubber mallet against the tire to loosen it up. Tried a number of anti seize compounds with limited effect. Finally got some caliper grease which I applied to the rotor face and the problem is gone. Just don't over do it and don't get it on the wheel studs. Stuff really stands up to the heat and corrosion.

nothin to worry bout. when the rust is a problem you will know. if you can read reach or pass a beer through it then be concerned. besides more rust is better gas mileage. its not like toyota frame rust, that is the most advanced rust ive ever seen.

Natural weight reduction . I bet it gets better gas mileage now .

Perfectly normal. Iron reacting to atmospheric moisture where the iron is heat cycling every time you drive. They all do that

Like others have said that's pretty normal. If it bothers you you could always hit it with a small wire brush to knock some of the rust off but I would just put the wheel back on and drive it.

I have to admit when I saw the title I was expecting this to be a Tacoma thread.

Dust it with WD40. Done! (Not the braking area!)

Mine were gold plated by ford. Yours has a Factory defect…. Have the dealer buy the truck back. That’s a safety hazard.
